Make sure to introduce KEERHAUNMORE with the correct spelling into your sat nav system because there is another place called Keeraunmore - without the H - situated one and a half hour drive from our place. Some clients have found themselves stranded there looking for our stables that weren't to be found...

Driving directions

Coming from Clifden, follow the signs to Ballyconneely (R341). Turn right after Keogh's Pub in Ballyconneely village and follow signs to The Point Pony Trekking and to the Connemara Golf Course. We are situated half a km past the entrance to the golf course (approx. 7 km from Ballyconneely village). Coming from Roundstone, follow the coast road (R341) to Ballyconneely. In Ballyconneely village turn left before Keogh's Pub and then proceed as above.

From Dublin 300 km (take M4/M6 motorway Dublin-Galway - in Galway follow signs for N59 towards Clifden - in Clifden follow signs to Ballyconneely (R341)

This journey takes approx. 3 1/2 hours by car.

There are no buses from Clifden to our place but it's easy to find a taxi in Clifden

(20 min. drive, approx. €25).

Keogh's Pub in Ballyconneely serves fresh food all through the summer - with patio and covered/heated outdoor seating

Mace's minimarket (ATM inside) & Filling Station beside Keogh's pub
